Nicole Kidman’s fans will soon be able to enjoy her remarcable performance in Rabbit Hole Trezirea la realitate on the big screen. The movie is directed by John Cameron Mitchell (Hedwig and the Angry Inch) after a scereenplay of the well appreciatted writter David Lindsay-Abaire adapted after the Pulitzer Awarded (2007) play: Rabbit Hole.
A married couple tries to recover after the tragic death of their son. Caught in a maze of memories, longing, guilt, reproach and anger, the two gradually begin a journey where they learn to rediscover each other, to adapt in an up side down world. A full of live portrait, blunt and unexpectedly spiritual of a family found in search of what remains possible in the most impossible of all situations.
For her performance, Kidman was nominated for both Oscar and Golden Globe. The cast includes Aaron Eckhart (Thank You For Smoking, Erin Brokovich, The Black Dahlia), Dianne Wiest (Hannah and Her Sisters, Bullets Over Broadway), Tammy Blanchard, Miles Teller, Giancarlo Esposito, Jon Tenney and Sandra Oh.
Rabbit Hole ha been screened for the first time in Romania during the tenth edition of Transilvania International Film Festival.
